Joe Lomax

Joe’s another to have served +5 years ‘inside’ De:Team. Frequently the brunt of our jokes, he’s a natural glutton for punishment- despite being born in Manchester he somehow ended up an Everton fan.

After completing a degree in Media Film Communications and Culture and a few unsavoury retail jobs, Joe found his real passion in hospitality. He gained experience working in a whisky and tobacconist specialist and has honed his skills at Define to become a favourite amongst our day-time visitors. His recent promotion to Supervisor means you’ll see a bit more of him during evening shifts.

He enjoys a good City break, supping whisky, fine dining and apologising for everything, whether he’s done anything wrong or not. As a result, he gets blamed for most things.

Greatest achievement:

Being promoted to Supervisor at Define!

Secret:

I used to host my own cringey shows on local radio. They were awful.
